What we do:

Kid Space is our Sunday morning education program for preschoolers through sixth graders and takes place during the education hour (9:35-10:45). Our preschoolers are led in fun and engaging age-appropriate activities while children in kindergarten through sixth grade participate in what is called the Workshop Rotation Model of Sunday School.

This is an exciting program that focuses on multi-dimensional learning by having the children explore a Bible story or theme in various workshops over a period of four weeks.

Position: Teacher - As a rotational teacher a lesson is taught for three
consecutive Sundays to all the children in the Sunday school K-2nd, 3rd
& 4th and 5th & 6th grades.
Time Commitment: 30 minutes

Position: Mission Controller - Mentors that supervise and nurture one
classroom group for the entire school year.
Time Commitment: 70 minutes

Position: Children's Activity Time (CAT) leader - During the sermon
portion of both worship services, children ages three through
kindergarten are invited to join two volunteers for story time and free
play in Room 5 in the education wing.
Time Commitment: half hour once every 8 to 10 weeks

Position: Workshop Leader - Leads drama, music, art or other
workshops for four weeks during the education hour. Curriculum and
supplies are provided.
Time Commitment: 30 minutes per week for 9 months of the year.

Position: Children's Music Co-Leader - Helps plan and implement
children's worship/music time on Sunday mornings from
about 9:45-10:15.
Time Commitment: 30 minutes per week for 9 months of the year.
