Men's Ministry

What we do:

Meet for Bible study and fellowship on Saturday mornings. The men have an opportunity to take turns in leading the lesson. Study begins at 8 am in the Colbert church library. Once a month there is a planned activity for the men and their families. Some of these activities have included going to Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge, Cross Country skiing, Valentines weekend getaway, Bike/Walk the Centennial trail, Combine Demolition Derby, the Lions train ride, and more. There is a yearly calendar posted on the bulletin board in the Narthex under Men's Ministry.

The men of Colbert participate in many activities within the church
and do specific service projects. They are involved with building toys for children, New Hope Resource
Center, Camp Spalding, working on the church grounds, and
driving for those who have a need. The Men's Ministry is responsible
for our annual Thanksgiving Day worship service.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men. Colossians 3: 23
